10 Tips To Starting Blogging

Starting a blog can be exciting as well as confusing if you don’t know how to get started. Here are 10 Tips To Starting Blogging and start earning money

When you get started, it’s really really simple.

10 Tips To Starting Blogging

1. Decide on a topic of your interest

First, you need to want to set up a blog. Good reasons to set up a blog include following a specific project (baby, wedding); keeping in touch with friends and family or an idealist desire to write. The worst reason to set up a blog is money and free goods. There’s a big wholesale of better tricks on those.

Your blog may have a specific topic like children, pregnancy, cars, Gift mugs, house plants – just about anything. At the heart of the blog, you can be you and what you’re doing. It’s up to you to write what you write and only you decide which topics fit on your blog! One good rule of thumb: If you feel like updating all your social media channels do so but just as much, you don’t need to put everything out, you might have enough to say or show on my blog.

2. Create a website – Open a blog

Contact WordPress or Blogger, no matter which one. Select a ready-made template based on google. The most important is that the text is nice to read, especially on a mobile phone. There are many video tutorials available to show step by step instructions to install a good theme and set up the blogger page.

3. Select a name

Put some good thought to this one. Think about the name at least twice. Today’s funny word variant may be embarrassing next week and yesterday’s insider joke won’t carry forever.  Bent and complex sentences can be challenging, but on the other hand, they are absolutely wonderful. The blog will eventually grow around its name.

4. Write

You learn to be a writer by writing. Write short texts, long texts, funny packs or deep reflections – as long as you write! As you write, think a little about who reads the text and what interests him or her.  Write a column rather than a diary: don’t say hello to the reader, but assume he or she is kind of familiar. Know who your target audience is.  Think that each text should have some kind of profound idea, a funny story, or an interesting event. The text must have a value for its reader! This will make it easier for you to write. Type.

5. Make it interesting with Images

Take pictures if you know how to do it and use them in your Blog.  Images are often appreciated. You will find many websites where you can collect copyright free pictures for free. You can borrow other’s pictures but you need to keep in mind to specifically ask for permission to
use the image and give credit to the owner.

6. Interact and Discuss with your Audience

Blogging is basically a community thing. Of course, you can write for your own amusement without commenting, but then you run the risk of continuing to write alone. Above all, remember to chat on other blogs. Go and comment on them and remember that a good comment has value again for others as a logged-in user to attract others to your own blog to peek.

7. Use Social media to share your Blog

Link your blog to a variety of blog portals. Start your own social media channels.  It’s good to have your own FB page, an Insta account or even a Twitter account depending on the topic, but think about what you need and keep up. Everyone needs to be updated with the same love as your blog, but well-managed social media channels will bring more community to your stories.

8. Recycle

Good content can and must be reused! You’ll soon find that it’s for this very reason that you should write stories “evergreen”, so that you can share them directly later. In those social media channels, you can share other people’s good stuff as well, as long as you remember to tag and tell whose stories you’re sharing. You can be valuable just by sharing all sorts of things about your thoughts!

9. Network

Blogging if something is a profession where good networks go further than without. Be a nice guy! Talk to others, explore boldly, go to industry events, post direct messages on Instagram. But don’t intrude. Such basic social skills are important, both live and online. Tag other bloggers in your own photos, share other’s stuff, comment beautifully, ask others for feedback, ask if you can come and film… Anything, as long as you get to know others and you are well connected.

10. Keep at it

Getting your Blog to grow can take time and effort. Don’t lose heart if you don’t see results. Remember to keep posting regularly. Sooner or later there will be visitors on your site. And if you have something of value for them. then be assured they will stick with you for a long time.
